Get some thin wire & run it up & down behind the badge, then just wipe the black foam (glue) off with your finger.

Boil the water again, make sure you've got any bits of plastic trim covered with a rag else you'll muck it up...

Get one of those scrapers for wallpaper, rap a rag round it so you don't scratch the paint and when the glue is still hot, slide it down the back

This will sound silly, but it works, use a hair dryer to soften glue, once badges are off use white spirit or turpentine to remove any remaining glue, wash area with soap and dry, thats it. Note keep hair dryer moving so not to bubble the paint.

I removed mine with a hair dryer and they just pulled off by hand - just heat them up and pull a bit away at a time - the difficult bit is getting it started, once you have it comes off easily. The glue residue just polishes off - job done .

This could work, tie one end of a big rope to a tree, the other end to the badge [you may need to take the badge off first to get the rope round it], then drive off really fast.

Remember to T-Cut [or whatever rubbing compound you got] then polish.

Bake for 45 mins at gas mark 12.

I need a nap.

Best glue remover is UPVC cleaner, smells like pear drops but does the trick & doesn't damage the paint
