Default Sony DVD burning camcorder

Paid £500 for the piece of shit last year and i have used it a couple of times now.Burns straight onto a 8cm dvd so you can simply place into your dvd player once recorded.Trouble is i cant find a player that will read the friggin disc,that includes two different dvd players a playstation and my pc

Anyone else got one maybe tell me where im going wrong

Have you finalised the disc first?

May have been covered above, but I have a Hitachi one, and you need to FORMAT the disc before recording, and then FINALISE the disc AFTER recording.

Only other way to watch the stuff as far as I know is the old red, yellow and white leads to your TV or a Firewire lead to your PC.

Cant b arsed wit tapes n discs anymore

deffo will need finalizing. also need to make sure it's burning a proper mpeg2 stream and you dont have it set to burn as something different like the HDD ones.
