Default Double Standards

Followed a police car along a 30mph stretch of road on my way back from lunch. I thought he was going quite briskly so I decided to match his speed. My speedo hit just under 60mph before I had to brake to turn into the office, he was still pulling away from me though No blue lights and no sirens.

One rule for us and another rule for them

I was doing about 80 last night in a 60 limit (about 4.00am) on wet roads etc in my work van and a car came from nowhere behind very quickly. I was worried it may have been pigs but it had a headlight out so figured it wouldnt be. I carried on cutting corners and crossing solid white lines for about a mile or 2 until I turned off, when I did I realised it was the cops behind me, but they didnt bother and just carried on going straight on

I came towards a 30 zone near me out of a 60 at 3am one night (lovin the cool air ) and noticed a big car hurtle out of a blind road end and travel in my direction. I was doing 65 or so, which is fast for the road, and thought "if that's a cop he's gonna really have to shify that thing to catch me". Anyway, came into the 30 at about 27mph, he came storming up behind me, no lights, and sat on my tail for about 100m :x I saw then it was a cop car, but he had no lights or anything. I was about to stop and give him some advice but he THEN decided to put his lights on He was a nice guy in the end, but it pees me off the way they behave sometimes.

Always the way Darlin.

Although right now I'm not loathing the police. Whilst slightly speeding on the biggest dual carriageway round Watford yesterday the traffic police came up quick from the car behind me just to pull in directly behind me. Cue me and Davey Boy assuming I was gonna get done the first flaming time I've had the cossie out in TIME. Had my hand on the indictor stalk and everything... and they turned off. Result. But why jump in behind me?!

Police are odd.

I chased a panda car out of my town with its blues on. He was tailgating someon and I came racing up behind him to get his number, next thing he dropped it down, flicked on the blues and made a run for it. He was in a Rover 200 and I was in a Cav SRi, I couldn't catch him round some bends out on the open roads as he was slithering across the road and hitting curb sending a shower of sparks Was ace bollocking past cars that were pulling over for him, god knows what it looked like.

Only in my retarded town could that happen.

I've chased an ambulance through rush hour traffic once. My usual 1 hour journey home lasted less than 20 mins.

Cossie Vs Ambulance on the home straight was quality. I thought "Best not get in hois way and slow him down........................"

So I left him for dead (no pun intended for whoever was in the back)

lol @ Bill. I was well aware of his presence. But surely it's safer for me to be looking out of the windscreen 90% of the time rather than FREAKING OUT about what's behind me!

Was on the bike (wearing earplugs) a while ago, couldn't understand why all of a sudden, everyone was getting out of my way..........

You guessed it! After about 1/2 a mile I spotted the cops behind me - Blues and Twos and everything!

Dont think I was holding them up though!!
