i know what you mean simon but i think its about time for a rebuild anyway lol ive had it 3yrs now and its ran 28-30 psi for that time

the noise could still be down to the manifold gasket as when u removed the plug that cylinder would not be firing hence no noise.
lack of oil pressure could be down to the turbo as i presume your oil pressure guage takes it feed from the same place as the turbo.

Still driving mine with its tap/knock. Still giving it abuse too, just cant help myself.
Might have to investigate it this weekend. Fancy taking mine apart too while your on Dicko, I cant be arsed with it.
