hi guys. yesterday i was doing a few things on my cossie replacing vacuum hoses etc and went to take off the hose on the map sensor and snapped the pipe on the sensor. is it worth getting a 3 bar map sensor or not? im running 280bhp. and can someone explain what the map sensor does? as im quite new to the cosworth engine,

you have to fit the correct map sensor for the installed chip, ie if it's a standard map sensor you must replace it with one, good oppertunity to go to stg 3 using 803's and a 3 bar with a new chip tho!!
also when removing the pipe off the map sensor in future remove the pipe off the inlet then un bolt the map, and remove the pipe from the map on a bench, saves snapping them like most do!!
