bonnet don't close on mondeo
bollocks
the bonnet won't shut all the way down and no amount of jumping on it will make it shut properly
i've tried to slam the fucker too but it still pops up
and without the bonnet shut all the way the fooking alarm keeps going off
short of stripping the fornt end to figure out whats worng with it, how wil i get it fixed, tonight?
i need to use int in the morning to take the little un out

simple...remove the object that is stopping it shutting
can you lower it whilst looking in the gap to see if it's fouling? or is it the catch that's not working properly?

I had a sticky catch on my Mk1. I didn't need to strip it down though.
There's a metal flap over the top of it which I prised up. Greased it up and moved the catch side to side with a screwdriver til it loosened off
Then bent the flap back into place again

it was the grille fouling
it's a mk3 and the ac guy was having a look at it yesterday to find out whre the second pipe is supposed to connect on them as there is one connection just behind the drivers side headlight but none anywhere else
we took apart a fair few simple bitson the front but the light wasn't coming out so we put it all back together again
the front grille clips in a funny way and wasn't in properly and all bloody night long the alarm was going off
but it was at the other house so my mum was doing her nut
