which one is the best one?

want to purchase the best all rounder really?!

i have had xbox prev and thought it was good, brother had ps2 and that was good too but i thought the box had the 'edge'

what about these new ones tho??????

Xbox... fucking hate the PS3.

Although its just because I like to see the underdog win. No idea which is best mind you.

Ive got both and after a couple of weeks of owning the PS3 Im back to the 360, both are good machines but the PS3 has no games or very few and even less good ones.

Not worth getting a PS3 for another 6 months or so IMO or until hopefully things pick up.

 

They both rock

PS3 makes sense if you are going to make use of all it's features etc

If you just want a shit hot gaming machine then save your money and buy the Xbox.

I love mine but I'm trying to resist buying a PS3 as well atm

also thought the xbox was cheaper??


i will mainly only have racing and car games lol

 

PS3's got wireless built in (extra for the xbox), bluray (HD-DVD is available for the xbox but again it's more money), a bigger hard drive (60gb vs 20gb)

Plus I think the processing power of the PS3 is a bit better but in reality there's little/no discernable difference graphics wise (in my eyes anyway)

Basically if you are going to add the wireless, HD-DVD and the upcoming bigger hard drive etc to the xbox you might as well buy the PS3.

Otherwise just save yourself a couple of hundred quid and go for the 360.

 

xbox and ps3 are pretty much equal on price once you buy the extras for the x-box to bring it inline with the ps3. Personally I'd go for an xbox 360 if you want it now as there are not very many really good games out for the PS3 although F1 Championship Edition is pretty cool once you get into it.

oh and the PS3 will be rocking in about 6 months or so I would guess once some decent games come out that really start to use the hardware.

Even though the PS3 has only just come out, the Launch games are wank.. Fooking Motorstorm ROFLOL , F1 is very samey to every other f1 game launched EVER!. And fooking RIIIIIIIIDGE RACER .. give me a fucking break


The 360 is over 18 months old now and the games are top notch. Especially when you play online against your mates


I VERY nearly bought a ps3 but played on a mates before I handed over my hard earned, I think i'll wait for 6-8 months and see if anything decent comes out for it..

Just waiting for Forza Motorsport 2 & Halo 3 on the 360 now, these are going to define next gen gaming

360 easily over the PS3. Has far more potential for future improvements over the other next gen consoles and it is made by the company (microsoft) who have led in the gaming industry platform (windows) for so long now, so they know what their doing.

 

FORZA motorsport is really good on the old skool xbox
