bmw 328
i'm looking at getting a bmw 328i cabriolet e36 shape and just want to know what i should be looking out for! i've heard something about a nakasil block but is this good/bad? any help appreciated cheers

yea it has a nakasil lined ally block that had problems , think that they had a lot of them taken back on warenty , so if the history of the car has warenty work in involveing the botom end being changed at bmw ,it should be ok , check out a bmw forum any of them will have a thred on the nakasil problem as its a subject that often comes uk .gary

nakasil issue is over hyped, but there is an easy test you can do by looking under bonnet to see if its the older block or the later one
