ARgh, compressor maps still confuse me. Help

Right, no matter how many times i think i understand compressor maps, im still not sure
Heres 2 compressor maps of vaguely similar size turbos (actually 3 as the GT42 one shows the GT42R compressor map too), someone explain what on the maps means what, and how one turbo compares to the other from what the maps show you...

I wont say anything as i dont want to cloud anyones ideas with mine, esp as i feel very unsure that what i think is right anyhow

you need the equasions to work out your enigne air flow requirements...
then you can plot that on your graph and see the efficency of the turbo at that point.
