Default function key 5 (F5)

so ive got 2 identical computers - 1 in the office and 1 at home. when im on PF the 1 in the office does a screen refresh when f5 is pressed but the one at home gives a green message at the bottom of the screen 'undo'. its such a pain on a long thread to go back to the list of forums - anyone clever listening?

btw i spend a lot of time in the office compueter on pf!

what computer is it that shows undo when you press F5, my missus has a parkard bell that has some hotkey shit on it that makes pressing any of the function buttons do something completely random

I just turn it off and use the function buttons as normal

Sounds as if there is the same sort of software on the comp with the F5 problem

HTH

Could be a cache problem - try CTRL+F5, that should force IE to reload the page, even if you have it cached.

If that works, try clearing your internet cache (tools menu, internet options, Delete Files button in the middle, then OK).

Why not just click refresh?

using the mouse causes data entry speeds to drop .... less posts.... more sips of the gordons... am sure i could express this better with emoticons but coz they are described in french it means using other peoples emoticons / posts to learn... this is concerning
