Private plate owners... Advice
Just about to buy a private plate from the DVLA website.
Its for a car, not for retention. Roughly how long will it take to get it on my car? Whats the process for having it on there?

It used to be easy when they did it over the counter at DVLA local office 
Have to send paperwork off to Swansea now,got one goin through at the minute,gave us a target date of ten days to be completed
Need to take logbook and MOT which they send off to be altered,and give them expiry date and serial number off tax disc and they send you a re-printed one with new reg on
Pretty easy form to fill in
