GS Motorsport - Aviod
Not sure if this is the right place to post this but feel free to move.
I ordered a seat from GS Motorsport 3 weeks ago, I was promised it before my trip to the ring this weekend and for the last 3 days I havent been able to get trough to GS. Monday the phone was off the hook all day, yesterday the answerphone was on all day & the same today so far - I've left a few messages and I've not heard anything...
Ive been chasing it every couple of days since I ordered it & I've been told its been pushed up the production line at Cobra so that it would definately be with me before this weekend & on Friday I was told I would be given a tracking number for the courier as the seat was going to be sent out on Monday - called Cobra yesterday to find out where it is as I couldnt get through to GS and they couldnt give me any info on it so I've paid for a seat that I dont need now even if it does turn up before I go as we dont have the time to fit it. The service that some companies provide is terrible, i dont know how they stay in business!
Steer clear of them as they seem like a 1 man band with extra bad customer service - do you know any other companies that leave the phone off the hook all day?!
Heres their website - looks nice & pro but really their just a middle man mail order company, best off going direct or somewhere else that you know & trust www.gsmotorsport.com

Still no reply from GS - I hope they/he goes out of business very soon.
Called again this morning, the voicemail message has been changed but no response to any messages I left last week - c***s
I take it nobody on here has used them before?

Nah doesnt sound too good but I've learnt my lesson! I never usually use people I've not heard about before really but my mate ordered 2 seats a few weeks before me and they came in a few days so I thought they'd be ok. I should be able to get my money back tho, I called Virgin & gave them all the details as they took my money on the 15th March, they tried to call them aswell and had no luck so their going to send me a form etc etc and reclaim the money - not sure how it works but by the sound of things it happens all the time to people.

Its deffo not the one in beverly, As he is always helpful and would never leave phone off.
Its a shame the 2 companys av the same name, just hope the bad one not f##k it up for the good one.

if it is my mate had loads of trouble with him about some breaks he got they sent wrong ones with no pads and other things missing he tried ringing to swap but as you no answer
in the end he went to his house or business to sort things out he promised to send him some right ones and some braided hoses as a sorry finally got his stuff though the hoses where wrong

Website looks like a 'front' from the off.
Three 'separate' companies on one site? Yeah right, looks like one kid in his bedroom with 3 sets of headed notepaper and a half decent contact with the suppliers.
Maybe he puts all the orders on hold til he gets enough to justify phoning cobra or whoever.

Feel for you mate, We've had problems with seats sometimes not turning up on time from both Cobra, Corbeau and Recaro so it does happen, but that doesn't alter the fact they should be in contact with you, letting you know whats happening, let alone you not being able to contact them...

why do people pay up front for stuff in the first place? every pennies a prisoner in my pocket and i regard everyone as a potential scammer until theyve proved otherwise.
