Can anyone help?....much appreciated
...ford transit 2.5 1997....temp gauge hardly moves and bottom radiator hose seems cool to touch when fully warmed up...it has a thermostat in it and it seems ok.....i took the top hose off the thermo block and no water came out (or is that wrong!)..i push the thermostat with a screw driver and water came out
...please help urgent..i am going to replace thermostat and temp sensor tommorrow but is there anything else that makes it run cool on the gauge with a cool bottom rad hose?????????

...cheers....and its even a Ford 
...if i'd been someone else and had a BMW i'd have been laughing
...surely one mechanic from what 500 online on a car site for Fords?

was it actually warm enough for the thermostate to open?if its not the rad hose will be relativly cool,i know my 1996 transit 2.5 diesel ran really cold all the time.
