avg antivirus if you want free, and personally wouldnt bother with anything more than windows firewall if you have a fair amount of common sense.

I use these three (not as often as i should though) and once every couple of months i do a trendmicro call virus online virus check.

avoid the likes of NORTON and MCAFFEE as these are resource hungry bastards! a good free one is AVAST.
