its not even finished yet, but the tres door will be well over 20k

my old mk6 i spent about 5k on

my old cabby i spent about 3-4k, and most of that was tyres till i made my own lower arms

to scared to add up what I have spent since getting my first cossie in 1997, my escort cos has only had about 3k spent on her since I got it in 2003..

*edit*
forgot to mention my 100E cost me in excess of 15K but the was spread over 9 years it took to build!!

just about to spend another grand paying for the engine rebuild

About £25K. It soon adds up when rebuilding engines, big tooth boxes, big brakes, poly bushing, new TCA's etc. etc. are taken into account.

On my old series 2 which i owned for 6 years, i had 18k receipts for 3 engines, 4 turbo's 7 gearboxes etc etc and loads of un receipted stuff such as management, and mapping!!

It's ok though, i sold it for 6k

My fiesta had about 5k thrown at it in the 2 years i had it,

strangely though, the 3 cossies i had didn't really get more than around £1500 on each????

just over 5k in 6 months of rst ownership. i always wanted a cossie (and still do) but i'm sure they end up costing double what an rst does!!!

Too much!! She had a FULL nut & bolt resto to concours std and a full large turbo conversion and rebuild by harvey.......car only cost me £12600 in 2003 but spunked about another £30k+ at her

For £43K Scott you could have a Mk1 Porsche GT3 but I know you can't compare it like this as the money spent is usually over many years. If it isn't then people need their heads read

only had 10K worth of bits on it, so parts i'd replaced and labour were included in that figure
