Default High ACT's? Or something more sinister?

Ok, I am running an ERST engined XR2 with a 195 turbosystems chip, -31 actuator and 2.5" stainless. Standard cooler, holding 1 bar of boost.

When I have been giving it a bit of beans for say 10 mins (normal street, not track), it sometimes missfires under load in 3rd. Never 1st or 2nd.

I have changed the plugs, dizzy cap and rotor arm, not done the leads yet.

Just wondering if it's the cooler being pushed to hard as if I calm it down for a mile or so, it's fine.

Help please

knock sensor has nothing to do with boost limiter.

Why not take your car to a rolling road to get checked out?

turn the boost down to 11 and see if it does it. has the boost limit been raised or is it still standard?

The boost limit will be mapped at 18 psi on a stage 1 chip,The device strategy of the chip will have been labelled on the front of the ecu if this label has been removed it will also be on the turbosysyems tamper seals on the back of the ecu too,if these have been removed it will be on the label on the 40 pin reprogrammed turbosystems processor inside the ecu.Check for our ID numbers and let me know what they are and I will tell you what it exactly is mapped for.
Charge air becomes critical as far as det is concerned on a cvh at 68 deg C and further retard is mapped in for safety .

with my s1, if i run it at 14 PSI, it will only run for about 15 secs on full throttle, then the ACT's go into to 60's, and it cuts the ignition. So i reckon its your cooler mate.
