oil pump doesnt seem to be problem on a N/A engine to 8000rpm but it does seem to be a lottery on a turbo zetec. st 170 rods and pistons are different and better than normal zetec.

i had billet gears made for the silvertop but no one really wanted them to make it a worthwhile exercise

my dunnell 1800 zetec rolling roaded at 203bhp but is about 197bhp just now as the torque curve was much better when we swung the cams.

dunnell are the people to speak to...
How is Dunnel? And where do i get the billet gears?

I thought that the ST170 limiter is set a 7200 RPM and makes peak power at 7000 RPM? i may b wrong .....
