sounds to me like the idle speed screw under the back of the head needs a tad tweak as its not holding its revs,

Does it start then run with his foot on accelerator, but die immediately if his foot been taken off?

Its hard to say as I haven't seen it etc. But from what he says, its runs fine and then just totally dies like someone has turned the ignition off. The car was setup at power engineering in october I think and has started doing this the past wk or so.

My mate who called me sold the S2 to a mate of his two wks ago and its now having probs. Maybe the other guy has had a fiddle somewhere..... I dont know.

Anyone have any ideas what may be wrong?
