I've got my LCD tv working now which has freeview built in. Now i can receive almost all the channels on freeview crystal clear but the channels are limited. I.e no men & motors, UKTV Gold/Comedy BUT i get all the sky channels (apart from the pay ones of course)
Are there anyways of getting more out of freeview?
I've ordered the digital service from Virgin which will be installed next week as at the time I didn't think my receiption for freeview would be any good but of course i wont get any of the sky channels but get all the other things. Is there a way of combining the two as it is built into the telly!
Cheers,
Dan

You shouldn't get M&M on Freeview as they took it off.... You shouldn't get any Sky channels except Sky Three, Sky News and Sky Sports News on Freeview either....
There are a good few channels that show up in channel list that you cannot access unless you subscribe to them aswell - a couple of UKTV channels, Discovery RT, TCM, and a couple others....

Oh and yes, you can have both. Your TV will still continue to recieve Freeview so long as the aerial lead from your normal roof aerial is plugged into the TV. Virgin's V-Box will use a different cable to get it's signal, and will be plumed into the TV using a scart lead. So you will be able to get both Freeview and Virgin Cable
