alot of the faults come down to the controlers packing up or giving incorrect voltages

Having given the sensor failure a quick search on google, its not whats up with mine, but still worth having a spare

Mike was a little wrong about the temperatures though it would appear.

The sensor can hack 1300 degree gas temps and 900 degree sensor temp

Still worth having the extender anyway though just to be sure, so let me know if you do have one in stock Mike as I still want it.

Mine gave error 04 IIRC, "sensor open" I think it may have been

Will have to see what graham goode are like for exchanges then I guess if that has happened, hope not as I actually like it as a bit of kit in the first place.

Only seen an hour or two's use so far though, so really poor show if it is fucked already!

Chip,
The Yanks work in FARENHEIT, so convert that to °C and then see how susceptible to heat they are....

Also, the one I have in stock is being purchased by Euan, so I no longer have it as such .

Bloody hell, thats not even 500 degrees sensor temp then!
And only 700 degrees of gas temp, in which case Im sure I have exceeded that fairly often!

Ah, didnt realise it was sold, you likely to have any more in stock in the next few weeks? (wont be using it again till well after the ring trip anyway so no massive rush)

I will be fitting my Innovate one after work tommorrow so will get some pics up and lets folks see it.

All ready had good reports of Doug etc

I got the heat sink today and the rest is on its way.

the heat sink actually moves the sensor out of the downpipe a bit to help protect it from the heat.

no matey i had a 52mm gauge pod so cut a 20mm bit off that like a little ring then chopped a bit out of each side of where the door open thingy used to be so it sat in there then stuck it solid with the hot glue gun and made a little in fill bit for the top and bottom ,its not actually solid plastic its the back of a file/folder had the same texture got it so it almost fitted then filled the back up with ... more hot glue but i recon it looks ok i just need a secs moniter to go next to it , hope this helps mate (and i hope it makes sence )

Im taking it to get it checked against AVA's gauge.

Been out in the car tonight again and the figs are wee bit different from what i thought.

still not got definate figs as the thing is too quick to concentrate on the gauges

plug it into your laptop and datalog - waste of time trying to read the gauge while driving. Readings sound spot on.

i used an LC-1 / XD-1 setup and was very impressed with it.

my 1st LC-1 failed tho, and i got it replaced under warranty.

the analog outputs are VERY sensitive, DO NOT let them anywhere near an earth, you'll blow the DAC

I've just bought an LM1 package - should receive it tomorrow intime to do a bit of testing enroute to the Nurburgring....

....question being what are considered as 'safe' values & the brink of 'dangerous' values at the following times...

i) cruising off boost
ii) coming onto boost
iii) full hammer, full boost

Thanks all!!!

Lee, look at the TWO sets of AFR figures below.

This was Stu's car (MSD). please note that the figures in the red highlighted area are dangerously
lean readings
due to an old fuel pump that was in poor condition.
