Quick 4x4 question! removing the passenger side driveshaft?

Default Quick 4x4 question! removing the passenger side driveshaft?

I have to replace both front driveshafts off my cossie, drivers side was easy but the passenger side has got me stumped? how do i withdraw the shaft from the intermeadiate shaft end? does it just pull out? is there a retaining clip? my workshop manual is not that helpfull!

It just pops out,check your engine mounts they break

ok i thought it did, i'll give it another go1 and yep engine mounts are getting changed once this bastid's out!

everyone who has posted the same question here has had their clips missing

also, none of the xr4x4's had this clip

not saying that it shouldn't be there, but the majority of posters don't seem to haev them

Been tugging, jiggling this flipping driveshaft which has now pulled the hub end and majority of the shaft apart from the splined end which goes into where the speedo drive is! is there any method to getting this thing out apart from just yanking it cos it's not budging!

Mine had a circlip aswell. Take the diff cover off and pull it out
