Random bloke just offered me £5k for cos!!
I just started my first bash of claying the cossie outside the house earlier, and while I was at it some bloke pulled up and offered me £5k for the car!
Only yesterday i was talking to the mrs about how much I think its worth, and today some guy offers what i want for it!
He said he was in the trade used to own one and wants another, so what should I do!!!! he has taken my number and is ringing back tomorrow!
I am just getting the car to the standard i want it it just needs a bit of arch work and its sorted! What do I do??

if you need the money take it, if your just selling cos your bored put it in the garage for a while until you restore your faith in the old chest nut, thats what i do any way

no mate going to keep and big turbo it sod it. spend a bit more cash and freshen it up a bit. dai is going to do the conversion for me just looking for a tidy spec turbo now. you decided if the car is going mate??

only last week I followed someone for 20 minutes (not stalking) and sure enough they parked up at their house and I pulled up and gave them my number and said if they wanted to sell it in the next year or so to call me.
Does that make me a pikey?

I just needed spares for my racing car and their car looked like an ideal donor car. Does that make me a pikey? Does that mean they need to lock up the old heap tonight? its not exactly the crown jewels a 20 yr old ford now is it?

My 20 year old Ford is worth more to me than pretty much anything, and is my pride and joy, so you'll forgive me if I lock it up.

He's probably bullshitting you TBH. I always get people coming up to me offering money for my 3dr. They are all dreamers though and they've all "had one" at some stage.
But if he does turn up, i will shut me trap.
