All gtr's i've driven crunch going into 4th at high revs/fast change (unless they've had a rebuilt box) Coil packs are a poss prob (ie missfire) Check it's not running too much boost (over 1 bar) if its still on std turbos. Any hicas probs can be deleted with Ł80 hicas delete bar.

if you get chance, pop off the cover in the passenger footwell, and take off ecu clip to check terminals....
they corode quite a lot, and not cheap to replace....
also,....
do not forget this,...
check the jacking points at the back,...
if they look caved in, then some monkey has tried jacking it with trolley jack, and killed the chassis runners...its easy done, cause they re thin box steel and collapse just by looking at them..lol...
but, id be a bit put off if i saw one like that,...gives the hint that it hasnt been maintained properly....but that maybe just me...

Lovely cars, you just will NOT understand why people pay Ł14k for an Escos when you drive a decent Ł14k R33 GTR. They are sooooo much better its funny!

Mate they aint as expensive as they used to be. Not much down sides to them really unless your buying a right shitter. My brothers selling his 33gtr in midnight purple ( in the forsale section ), I would recommend it. I went through that car with a fine comb before purchase and its a good example, no money needing spending and everythings as should be.
One point mentioning is that they aint cheap to repair and are not as quick as most people believe, loads of tunig options though. Generally a solid motor, that drives fantastic and are a pleasure to own.
pm me if you want further info.

PRAISE THE LORD! Lee, they're soooooo good it's unreal aint it? I paid Ł10k for my 28000 mile mint one, I love it, it's the most amazing car I've ever driven so your R34 must be even better. Why oh why spend all the money on an Escos, I just can't see why, the 4x4 feels like a tractor compared to the Skylines. It slides , but it also grips, it's just simply awesome!
Here's mine at the mo, just spent Ł2k on it, she's gonna be ace in the summer!

ok,...
theres 2 reasons why your seeing gtr 33's for less than 10k....
1....its actually a gts with gtr kit/or seller has advertised it wrongly
or,...and this is the most common....
2....its a bag of fooking nails that isnt worth paying money for, wether its less than 10k or less than 5k....
also,...im annoyed to think that there are GTR32's for less that 5K
simply bollox.....see above reasons...
a long time ago, a wise man said to me (stu@msd)
theres no such thing as a cheap car.....
if you buy a 5k gtr32,....expect to replace one of/maybe more, of the following
hicas system (variuos components)
altessa system (various components)
supsension ( various....)
engine (again, various)
body panels...
linkages
diffs
gearbox...
interior
theres so much that can drive down the price of these great cars....ok, im biased, but its simple awesome to drive, and i will not be reasoned with on this matter....if its cheap....theres a reason for it...
how many of you would buy an escort cossie thats in auto trader for 6k...
none,....
why....
cause you d immediately assume its fooked....same with the skylines...(gtr's anyway)
now fuck off...cunts...

its a gtr allright and there is 3 im looking at sub 10k.
all decent mileages.
2 purple ones(including the one on here) and a white one with 28000 miles for Ł8995.i think its safe to say prices are dropping a bit now-just like the evo 6 and the escos-prices are all over the place!
if i buy one it will be coming to the ring with me in 2 weeks!
but just been offered a b10 alpina for a really good price as well!

They get clocked before they get on the boat and then when they land.... and then again before they are sold on...
I would buy Tabz brothers one my the sounds of it
You will love them!

Or what about the fact that prices for whats basically a nissan were well over inflated and the imports that have flooded the uk have drove the prices down even further as they are no longer the mythical hard to source car they were before the R34 came along ! when prices for R33s were topping 30K for a basic 400HP car !
And if theyre 5K here imagine how cheap you could import one yourself for from Japan !

...as said i paid about 6k about 2 years ago for a r32 gtr...40000miles it looked genuine mileage if you looked at the engine bay and seat, pedals etc.....when i sold it the clutch was starting to slip thats the only problem and i used that quite a bit.

Oh nothing other than the fact RB took such a long time to get it ready for me that by the time it was , I sold it before I had a chance to drive it properly and even then I think Tim had to wait for it to be finished
So many plans for it all to go wrong time wise
I suppose I should be grateful as I am better off for it ............ nah fuck it Im bitter as fuck

Miss my skyline sooooooooooooo much. Was a great car and it could take a good thrashing. Only cost me money in upgrades but never went wrong, not like the 4 cossies i had which cost more than a small house to run and spent 80% of their lives in garages being fixed or left there as i could be arsed to get them out, scared of being stranded somewhere when they broke .
