How to Crackle finish my rocker cover
I fancy doing my rocker cover in a crackle finish. Do you buy it in an aerosol or is it like a powder coat?

i used the VHT stuff, similar to above, from an aerosol
the warm it with a hairdryer afterwards
then fly cut the top on a mill

I can have it powder coated finished for a harder wearing but the cans do a pretty good job

will that stuff cover up scratches etc?
i filed the ford logo and zetec bit off my cam cover by hand, and of course done a really fucking good job
need to either filler it and paint it again, or do summut that wont show it up

well my paint came earlier, so I got cracking...
I've just spoken to my mate who works at fords, and he's going to surface grind all the wrting for me, so it should look sweet!!!

Its being surface ground by a mate, which is nice!
No need to rub it down as the final finish is rough anyway.

tin is about a tenner delivered, can get em in burtons. I didnt use 2/3's of a can
