Default Track cars

thinking of maybe chopping in the saff when the summer rolls round, and building myself a track car. however i am totally useless in my knowledge of track cars, so a few questions:

whats the tow limit on a fiesta? 1.8 derv (my new runaround has a tow hitch fitted )

whats the deal with insuring a track car? it will not be a road car. so wont need road tax

do track cars need an mot?

not planning on competing, just something to have some fun in, strip it out, cage it up and rag it

just looking for peoples advise on the hobby, is it as expensive as running a saff

Rory - honestly, don't bother. Just take whatever road car you have and have fun with it.

Either that, or buy that Fiesta Rob has for sale, and thrash that round all day.
