My moblie connects to my Tom Tom

Just go to the "Mobile phone icon" and then "connect to phone" it will then search for your phone

yeh i can do that but how do i use the tom tom as my fones hands free?

ie answer a call?

When my phone rings so does my Tom Tom and it comes up the caller's name and a green and red hand set picture just press the green one to answer red to reject

Soz forgot to mention mine is the tom tom one v2 but it has Bluetooth and does connect to my fone just dont know how to do the rest

The sound quality on the one i tried was utter wank, and as with all bluetooth products, it's not what you'd call reliable i.e. - if you so much as look at it the wrong way, it'll lose connection

Get a wired handsfree with charge cradle from THB (wires into ISO plug behind dash, routes audio through car speakers, mutes cd/radio when call comes in etc). All the kit that wires into your ICE system is standard throughtout all phone models, it's just the clip on cradles that are different. Which is handy if you change your phone, you just need to pick up a new cradle for peanuts

i got the same tomtom. only connects to phone for traffic updates through GPRS

I can hear people ok they just carnt always hear me

I am gonna buy a mic that plugs into the Tom Tom holder

Dunno, but wouldn't that defaet the purpous as you might aswell just use the headphones that mobile phones come with anyway?

Sound quality poor, keeps disconnecting, People cant hear you.

I had the extra Mic come with my TT710... and It made no diffrence....

There is no good reason to get a TT Go 510,710 over a TT one.

Garmin satnavs are shit sat navs... But the handsfree feature is Faultless!
