I want to buy some new silicone hoses for my EsCos.

What are the best to buy?

- SFS
- Roose Motorsport
- Samco

And why are one of these the best ?

I've got Samco boost hoses (bought 'em years ago), and Roose water hoses.

If buying all again, I'd go Roose - for the personal touch, easy to get exactly what you want (I needed a modified hose for my water setup). Excellent quality & superb service.

I've also had Samco hoses on my saff, they were ok.

A friend of mine got the roose hoses, but I never heard of SFS???

Are these any good??? Anyway the price is good

go for roose.

really good finish, they make them oversized so you can trim them down

they keep all the colours in stock all the time. and can do special 1-off's with little hassle


cheaper than samco, with faster delivery

very cheap if you pick em up at the shows

I asked Roose or someone on here who trade in them also many times about a inlet hose (IC to throttle) with a 38mm DV connection...

So service from roose isnt that all...

i sell roose hoses because i know that they are the best cos iv had them all on cars over the years and they dont discolour like samco

Ive got roose hoses on my YB and never had any issues at all with them, quality is great and so was the service.

Apologies for that not really being comparitive though as ive never had samco.

Im personally of the opinion that samco or roose are both more than up to the job for pretty much any tuned YB though TBH

Plus everyone thinks u will have the usual samco hoses then u say NO i have roose sports ,so shove that up yer rusty bullet hole shithead

i had SFS hoses on my old series 2 and they were fine

only reason i use roose hoses now is cos of the service and the fact they have them in stock in black

Definitely straight mate!!!! Found a few on fleabay but they cant guarantee a good delivery time! (probably coming from Hong Kong or summit! )

This is one of the hoses he did for me recently - rs turbo bottom boost hose with cossie end on and extended by 30mm Very quick turn around to

Paul Roose has a website coming online soon.
Can't find the pic now, but there used to be one floating around which showed the end comparison between Roose and Samco. The Roose hoses are around twice as thick. Paul can also make any kind of hose you require, as demonstrated by grey RS above.

Hmmm Not sure if i'd be recommending them now!!! Was promised the hoses by last weekend (as per post above) but they still havent arrived :S
*EDIT - the postie hid it in the fookin garden and its been sitting there all weekend so top work as usual Roose *

I do a lot of business with Roose and Samco and I always prefer to deal with Roose TBH as he has most of the colours on the shelf, does custom hoses and he delivers on time for me

anything other than blue from Samco takes 4-6weeks.

Hi Paul, my utmost apologies matey! The dopey twat at ANC had put it in the kids' toybox in the back garden and didnt put any notification in the post box to say it was there like he normally does (he must've had his lunch break out there as he put it under Spongebob Squarepants ).

I had Samco on my Cossy, got them from simon at Woodford Garage Motorsport next day no hassle. Friends of mine have tried some of the other brands one of which split causing a massive coolant loss. I would rate Samco hoses, good enough for F1 good enough for me.

i had samco on mine, all of them except in the ancillary they dont supply half the pipes anyhow and they soon discoloured, but most blue hoses do i found

had roose on my turbo cabby, excellent service and good hoses, just a bit to expensive for my liking though lol

and have got sfs on my cossie now in black, and carnt fault them really

do the job that sneeded to do and are better than samco anyhow

i wouldnt touch samco again

i got mine of matt lweis at a good price aswell

Roose all the way, with a massive fire destroying my whole car 2 weeks ago, some of the hoses are still visible...very strong

I had some Roof hoses on my old fiesta, yes they were thicker but would not flex as easy as SfS or Samco hoses. My friend has just got some silver Roose hoses, they have a join line through the length, not impressed with the quality
