Just getting a new one today mate, its a Samsung D900 Chrome, looks the bizz, my mates had a D900 for a month or so and had no probs and he is really fussy with phones, ie about 5 a year! it hasnt got all the new video calling or anything that normally goes wrong but good as a normal phone and a 3 mega pixel camera so good photos.

can't find the w880i online!

not overly keen on a sliding phone either, it's like something from the 90's

Blackberry Pearl

Just got one from my new work as my company phone. It's taken a little while to get used to something other than my usual Nokia, but i'm totally impressed.

Personally, I think Sony Ericsson are doing some good phones at the moment, I`ve got the K800i which i think is the nads!! 3.2 megapixel camera, and mines got a 1GB card on it, so loads of good photos and music.

Also, the W880i, i`ve heard is a nice phone.....

had a look see in the shops today and the only one i like the v3. the replacement v3 k1 has buttons on the front which will mean i'll have to have a key pad lock on blah blah blah and that just annoys me. ther motorola i've seen is just far to big, all the nokias seem to get bad reports, and i'm not overly impressed with my current nokia.

all the sony ericson ones look over complicated, far too many buttons, looks like a kids toy!

can't find a w880i in any of the local phone shops though..

I've got a K800i as my personal phone and i've probably only used the camera a handful of times

The fact I have instant email on the go is something I will use a whole lot more than the camera.

Each to their own I guess

depends what you want from a phone mate, i recently upgraded and i was sitting there pondering this question when the sales assistant mentions the new 8800 that is out, the sirocco edition.

she actually said to me that in terms of features its not the best, 2mp camera, pretty standard screen, but it has bluetooth, radio, video cam, cam etc, its made of titanium and has a saphire coated screen so it doesnt scratch.

yeh, its not the most technologically advanced phone but it looks f'kin cool and nobody else has one.

ouch! my phones always have a tough life so i don't wanna spend that kinda money on one as it'll get dropped frequently!

is the n95 gonna be as hard work as the other n-series phones? cos when they came out there was loads of threads on here about people trying to work the damn thing!!

i only really use it to send texts and phone calls, just normal usage like.

I've pre-ordered an N95 for when they are released at the beginning of next month.

I'm currently on an N80 and use quite a lot of it's features. I use the WLAN feature a lot and the internet a lot. I use it to connect my laptop to the internet when on site. I use the note pad to write things down instead of loads of bits of paper everywhere. I use the calender to remind me of appointments as I am hopeless and always forget.. I think everybody uses the cameras. I have loads of pictures.

They aren't that difficult to use really! But if you're unsure, there is always the instruction manual you can read!

Until the nokia N95 is at sensible price then a N80 with the Internet edition firmware. Fantastic phone - brought mine new unlocked for Ł180 from Ebay.

Also if anyone is pissed off getting shafted by contracts then try this from vodaphone:

http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/index.cfm...cks.paymonthly

30 day rolling contract (no phone included so need an unlocked/vodafone phone already) :

150 Anytime mins 500 Ł20
300 Anytime mins 100 Ł20
500 Anytime mins 1000 Ł30
750 Anytime mins 250 Ł30
2000 Evening & Weekend mins 1000 Ł20

Combine that with:

www.vodafone.co.uk/vodafonefamily

Saving a fooking fortune after switching over from Orange and the best bit is I always get a signal!
