Default bloody printers

any one know any thing about them .
I have a brother printer ,scanner, fax ,copier all in one thing .
The yellow cartridge ran out,so i think no problem and buy a new one .Instal the cartridge and away we go ,but no the bloody machine keeps telling me the cartridge is not instaled ,i even got a second cartridge incase the first was dud

Any one had a similar experiance or have a clue what to do

Did you pull the plastic tab off ?

I get that all the time with my HP all in one.
Install cartridge, themn immediately turn off machine when cover is closed back up and leave for a few minutes, works with mine anyway worth a go ?

I got my Hp PSC 950 as it does COLOUR FAXES, trouble is no one I know has a colour fax!!

All in one printers are always more trouble than their worth. 3 in 1 = 3 times more things to go wrong

did you actually tellt he printer you installed a new cartridge? should be in the cartridge setup/alinement settings, usually it'll pop up when you turn the printer on after putting a new cartridge in but some are different.

yes chris done that too and it still tels me there is no cartridge in

best way to fix is pick it up, and put it in the bin

buy a new one!

Is it a proper cartridge or a compatible? i've had problems with the compatible chipped cartridges before for these all in one teas-made/breadmaker printer things. If you put the old cartridge back in does it see it???
