Anyone got a C or E class Merc?
Best get it rust protected or chop it in for something a little less water soluble......like a Maestro or something!!!!

Paint on most MBs is crap. Its partly cost cutting and partly the shift to water based paint (as you prob now Daz) But I bet at least half of those are due to stonechips not being treated at all and then it developing. Theres a lot of salt and shite on our roads nowadays

Cant be arsed to read all that post as its 6 pages long, but basically, if they can afford to BUY an E class Merc, then they can afford the R&M package that all Dealers offer which includes Body Maintenance.
Rust that isnt caused by damage is covered, and if his is really as bad as he said, I should think a lot of it will be a Warranty issue, but I bet he hasnt been in touch with DCUK to find out
