Default Who binned it then in their RS Turbo on the M62/M6 sliproad.

On the way to the Cheshire meet last night?

I heard that someone binned their RS Turbo last night on the way to the Cheshire meet by driving like a plank

Anyone know who it was?

Lets face it, could happen to any of us going to or from a RS meet if the driver gets a little carried away

He was young, had the car for less than a week, cold tyres and trying to live with his mate in a far superior car.......Thankfully nobody was injured and his car may repair...

We`ve all done the same at some point in our life so none of us can preach too much.. ....i just hope he learns from his mistake and doesn`t start looking for excuses......

I am gutted for him personally,it`s not nice to run out of talent and stack your pride and joy, especially not with a big audience watching...

Glad he`s ok and hope his car can be sorted....

Yeah, wasn't nice!

Horrible bend that, it looks fine, then just goes very sharp.

Shame really, car looked nice... Gutted for the lad though!

I thought it was a backfire or something, then everyone started running over.....

Christ, I even shifted my fat ass over

Easy done in the heat of the moment

Proper gutting for the lad

I would guess that was the slip road going south onto the M6? I almost lost it there when i went to a meet on brand new tyres a few years ago, Jap north west meet i think it was. I learned my lesson from that and never thrashed a car on brand new tyres since.

Not if you are just driving to the shops, but if you are going to hammer it on that corner then yes it helps!
