Default What different mongoose exhausts are there for the S2?

One of the recommendations Karl had for me with the car, is to change the exhaust as it was way too restrictive...

He recommended me to go for a Mongoose, but Ive just checked my spec and its a Mongoose already on there, *unless the spec is wrong*

Was there more than 1 mongoose released for the ERST?

Cheers

I am now talking to Stu about it on MSN!!

3" bore Mongoose with 4" outwardly rolled tailpipe for £399.

They also do a 4" inwardly rolled tailpipe for the same price, but that tends to look a bit

Also, the inwardly rolled tailpipe is silenced, while the outwardly rolled one isn't, so it is a bit louder.

That's 2.5" bore with 4" outwardly rolled tailpipe. You won't find the 3" version of that second-hand. They are hard enough to buy new!! There are only a few left as a very limited run was done AFAIK.

So, at what point do you need to go up to a 3" bore system? What are the limits of the 2.5"?

the nicest one is the 3inch bore with the 3.5inch tailpipe, it's nice and quiet for an aftermarket exhaust.
