Default cossie technical ?

guys

is it normal for the header tank on the cooling system to bubble once the motor is switched off, there is no pressure in the system atall, its as if its boiling but the water temp isnt that high.

is this normal ? is it because of the water cooling pipe for the turbo ?

When you switch off,the water no longer circulates so the water around the turbo cooling system boils up due to the turbo heat!!!!Totally normal.

Ensure your running the correct 4x4 cooling system and not a lashed on 2wd system as that caused far too many problems.

Im refering to the route taken by the turbo water return to header tank.

The water does continue to circulate for some time after due to convection. Not at the same rate as when it's being pumped, but still..You can even hear it if you listen closely
