Apparently the tunnel runs under a river, and leaks water, the sub-freezing temperatures create an icy surface shortly followed by carnage

I find it really hard to understand your posts at the best of times - but I watched that video really closely and not one of the vehicles that lose control get it back again! They all stuff it into the wall - even the bus catches the back corner against the wall pretty hard!

I have watched it again - the first shot is from the first camera near the corner, the second shot is from a camera close to where the incident happened. It quite clearly shows the car losing it into the wall after fish-tailing into a spin, front first into the right hand side - you've been drinking/smoking too much!

And to GRANT_RS2000 - no need for Specsavers thanks unless you two are watching a different video!

OK - my take on the VERY first clip in the Russian Crash Video...

Both pics are of the same crash but from different cameras. Camera 1 is closest to the bend showing when the car first loses it. Camera 2 is down the straight close to where the crash ends, you can see the silver car braking in the middle lane as the black car's crash comes to an end.
