does anyone know of any sites that you can buy cheap cars that have been crashed or stolen and recovered ect

i want a 2wd or 4wd cossie

This is a new type of breakers called U-Pull-It, where you purchase a written off vehicle from them and strip it of parts within a 7 hour period. Worth a look.

inverkeithing place is ransacked almost on a weekly basis by me and a couple mates! lot of good stuff, best to go see the places themselves though its got lots more than the website says

bluecycle etc is good but theres loads of buyers some stuff makes proper money then others a bargain

i have got a new bloke in guernsey he ships all the damaged stuff over to southampton docks

bought this last week, pilled the legs straight pulled the pillar and dressed up, a few days later shes nearly all there





pulled it and fitted door



painted it yesterday







will be registered on a 03 plate and hpi clear only done 27000 miles and owes me £1600






but on other cars ive been shafted on there, swings and roundbouts lol

Pete's right. They're far too expensive. I was a Universal Salvage member a couple of years ago but everything was far too dear to be worth buying. Because 'straight' cars are so cheap now it's really not worth it. And the chances of finding a Cossie these days are very slim.

that's only a good deal if you are a northern moneky though

the rest of us down south won't get shit going to a scrapyard now is almost like going to a main dealer, they charge you the earth and then say they don't have it

theres a cossie on ebay with damage £3500 also I nearly bought one of those astra convertibles from my local auction,03 reg 1.8,hood had a small reapair but nothing silly,t&t alloys needed a refurb £1000 didnt even sell in the auction for that £1600 with all the work seems a tad expensive

asm have changed a lot since this question was first asked back in 07 they now have online auctions for car breakers and repairers all over the country this is the link to asm
