cossies dont often come up at auction tho alot of people tend to buy the salvage back and when they do come up there not usually much cheaper than on the road prices

This is a new type of breakers called U-Pull-It, where you purchase a written off vehicle from them and strip it of parts within a 7 hour period. Worth a look.

bluecycle etc is good but theres loads of buyers some stuff makes proper money then others a bargain
i have got a new bloke in guernsey he ships all the damaged stuff over to southampton docks
bought this last week, pilled the legs straight pulled the pillar and dressed up, a few days later shes nearly all there
pulled it and fitted door
painted it yesterday
will be registered on a 03 plate and hpi clear only done 27000 miles and owes me £1600
but on other cars ive been shafted on there, swings and roundbouts lol

Pete's right. They're far too expensive. I was a Universal Salvage member a couple of years ago but everything was far too dear to be worth buying. Because 'straight' cars are so cheap now it's really not worth it. And the chances of finding a Cossie these days are very slim.

the rest of us down south won't get shit going to a scrapyard now is almost like going to a main dealer, they charge you the earth and then say they don't have it
