What car do yu think you will have , woke up and got a modern jap car ? Settled down with a family car ????

Reason for this post is got talking today , and said in about 10 years there really might not be any cossies about , rst`s etc and it scares me lol , and thought i really dont know if i could have another type car , its all i know, im 25 now and not a little boy anymore , but really need a rs to fook about with but they will only last so long

Is it being realistic to say im keeping it forever lol

Times move on and technology etc am i maybe missing out and im just to dumb to notice ? but i do love my cossie , the smell , the rattles , the breaking down all the time , all in all i do like it deep down

Still cruising in my 3 door and the evo 20 is just out

I will be 39 and I doubt there will be a RWD Cosworth to buy from FORD. I would like an XR8 or Vauxhall Manaro or similar motor of the time for easy power but you got to have a rough old beasty to rag round track etc

i reckon rs turbos and cossies will be around for a while yet just like the restored e type jags etc that u see these days, there will always be people tryng to keep the cossies etc goin

ive already turned sensible and got a family friendly estate car although we do tend to use my wifes audi when transporting the kids as they end up with wiplash in mine because of my heavy right foot. mine wont last more than a couple of years before i write it off and move onto something else

Ive kept my FWD car for the last six years and it has soooooooo much sentimental value I could not sell it.

As for the cossid'd mk3 that will have been rolled on its roof probably at the bottom of Duffus dip after ive had a moment of thinking I could actually drive fast and found out otherwise !!!!!!!!!!

In 10 years I will be 71 & I really do hope ive got over this fast car lark, 42 years modding & driving fast cars should be enough for anyone, but maybe I will make 50 years , time will tell.

I reckon they will still be around, there will always be enthusiasts that want them, just like there is for older fords such as MK1+2 escorts.

At the end of the day just because half of the people on here move on and start to slate Cossies and RST's it doesn't mean that they will die out.
