Santapod is a victim of its own success Your be lucky to get 3 runs in well you might if you sit in the queue all day long
I know i will paying paying a few trips to avon park this year fook queing all day to get 2 runs at the pod like i did last year

I'll be there.
They are running the Castrol challenge again this year but to get people more involved they now offer free entry and unlimted runs to the next rwyb if you were the fastest on the day.
Good for my mate as he so far has the quickest car of the Castrol Challenge this year
If the weather turns nasty though I'm going to head to Sherwood Forest for the Rally

Sharespears a good place for RWYBs, suface seems generally better, but most of all, its dead
Even in the height of summer you can get 20 runs on a RWYB day no bother!

Thats correct OR if you are doing over 110mph on the 1/4
The 110mph rule is new and apperently enforced as of this month although I got away for ages when it was 100mph.
Are you bringing the fezzy down ?
Should set some good times tbh

Good luck mark.
They say you need a lid, but the only time i had to wear one in my cossie, was when i run in Redline rumble event.
i went to shakespear for the first time @ the end of last year, and i wont be going back to the pod for quite a few reasons, if i had the choice of the 2.
1 being the wait time, 2 being you can watch everything while you cue, 3 being the grip is as good as the pod.
But even on RS central day, i've managed 8 runs @ the pod, just because i keep running to the end, where most get fed up and go home at 4pm.

For 300ft of Santa Pod has been re surfaced and by september they will of done the whole track again.
As Dan said if you wait around then you will get plenty of runs in.
I'll be there by 10am, got the helmet and tow rope ready

Just spoke to Mark,
He'd done 3 runs, slippery surface, due to be newly laid this year.
last run with NO traction in 1,2 and 3rd, 14.2 @ 106, with more to come.

Its a Td/field spec GT30, with a .55 or .48 ex housing for low lag. Other than that i haven't asked.
Similar idea to the TD's md240 for the cossie.
