Anybody else having trouble with On Demand (NTL/VIRGIN)?
Everytime I select on demand I get the menu (although with nothing on it) and the box freezes. Woman at NTL/Virgin told me to unplug it and plug it back in again. This worked and I watched 2 episodes of Dr Who and went to watch a third and it's doing it again

Is that the channel where you can watch what you want when you want ?
Except it never works, you press the red button and it takes ages to do anything and then locks up.
Total waste of fooking time.....

It Wasnt Me!
slim20012, give the card a jiggle or take it out an put it back in maybe?
neilm, Its an NTL service where BBC and 4 channels and maybe couple more films are hosted by NTL so that you can watch them anytime after they have been on the telly if you have missed it, sometimes the programmes come on that night a few hours after they been on, sometimes after 12 midnight or sometimes not for days after sometimes it doesnt even work, bein honest tho ive only had it not work a handfull of times

We got NTL boxes at home, they are total SHITE!!! Crash almost EVERY single time you try to use the menus!
I've just turned all the menus off and use my media center on my pc now. The only thing the box has to do is change channel (controled by media center).

Im sooooooooooooo glad i never took the VIP package that Virgin offered me for my new house. Would have been £85 per month just to have the same headache as you guys.
Sky have just offered me all channels, SKy+, 8mb broadband and evening and weekend calls for £53 per month, plus £11 for rental of BT landline for Sky Broadband, which come with a free netgear wireless router as well. and i can still watch lost and 24 on Sky One
You NTL customers, if you cant beat Sky, join em boys
