Kenwood Car stereo repairs.
Hiya. Do any of you guys repair stereos or know where I can get a part for my kenwood stereo??
The circuit board on the CD mechanism has burnt out. I have had the stereo just over a year and its not really been used that much.

Contact your local car Hi-Fi centre most offer repairs.
Alway had Kenwoods and never had a problem then I got one that failed inside of 2 days use.
and it was swapped for another posher one that lasted a month and went tits up.
Gave up after that and swapped for an Alpine

Had an alpine for four years never a problem apart from the face plate looked fooked.
I have had a quote for Ł200 for the labour to fix my stereo. Just wanted to see if I could get the PCB as its only screw on with one ribbon connector.

I still have an old PS-1077R MASK unit from 1995 and it still heads up the system in my daily runner. Good as gold. Last two have convinced me I won't be buying another

I have had loads and thought the one I bought for my car last year was the best I've ever had (XXV-01D). Between me and my Dad, we have had loads of them without any issues apart from a dodgy mask key on one of them.
