Default Where can I get a TOSlink optical PCB header?

Like this - just the little black toslink "box" that I can fit to a PCB?

Basically, I have one of these;

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?...=97124&doy=5m3

But mines the later one without the optical audio output

Now, I took it apart and looked at the PCB inside - it still has the space and the holes in it for an optical toslink header.....

So, I was wondering if I got hold of the header itself, could I fit it to the PCB to see if the firmware still supported it?

Pic of PCB;

Optical header spot is far left, next to the VGA output...

Can RS components not sell you one?

edit:

Just had a peek on google - can't find anyone

Maybe solder on a phono header and stick a Toslink/coax adapter on it? Or just use coax?

Doubt a phono header would work, as I want it to transmit digital multichannel audio. Can't use coax, don't have a spare coax input, and don't fancy having to use the optical-to-coax converters (which are pretty shit and need to be plug powered!)

I've looked on Maplins site, Misco, Microdirect, Dabs, ebuyer - can't find fuck all!

Part number is TOTX173 or TOTX177, made by Toshiba. Found some for sale on an American website tho..... Fuck all here in UK - cept one place (Farnells) but they only do minimum order of £20 excl. VAT

get one from Farnell!

Just order some other bits. Unless you are in the trade, you're not going to get it cheaper.

Farnell don't have the 173, and I don't know if the 177 is what I need (to be honest,I don't know if the 173 is correct, but it's the only one I have found a picture of which looks right)

And I don't need £20 + VAT + del of bits either!!!!!
