We had a Focus (and a few stragglers) rolling road day at the new dyno dynamics rolling road at Torque of the Devil in Uxbridge on Saturday, superbly workshop and a very professionally run day by all their staff. Very impressed.
I highly recommend them, not just Chris and Kester, but the whole team were brilliant, it was like watching a pit crew!
We've got a rolling road day organised for later this month that's being held there I can't wait to get mine mapped and see what it puts out. I'm glad to see it's up and running.
focus st is hard 2 get true reading of power on rr,the intercooler needs 2 b uprated 1st and that only makes it a bit better, then the ecu is a bit 2 clever 4 its own good at restricting performance under certain conditions!!!
Does Chris own Torque of the Devil then? I remember him moving from PE...
No Dan - the business is owned by a guy called Dave Malone (real nice fella, has some serious cars himself including an 800Nm Touareg ) but Chris is the 'main man' there and he runs the whole outfit
Love your fiesta ST... Was there any problems running the focus ST's?
Some say they dont get good power on a Rolling Road.
Oh don't get me started...lol I lost 30bhp from last time Chris ran the car at BHP, this time I had added the turbo back exhaust and bigger induction kit.
The ecu appeared to limit the power while the 300lbs of torque looked fine.
There was another Focus ST RR day up north and they had major issues with the cars making the correct power.
