Default ferriday copper headgaskets

whats the crack? anyone ever used one? they seem to have lifetime guarantees and just found this

there are a few running out there mate, but the way i see it is that if something goes wrong its easier for the gasket to let go than a slab of copper so might end up doing more damage (IF) something goes wrong

could be talking out me ass though

hows the head situation then?

i ve been running one for 18 months about 5k miles have peaked at 35 psi+ due to a hose coming off but can not fault them ,mike s a top bloke

can i ask on what spec? my car will be running t4 greys, bd14s, low comp ported head and prob about 28psi at most

dont want to get one for it to bugger up, i do about 10k a year miles

they are good but you must coat them witha jointing compound as they leak if you dont

Its not so much the copper that does the combustion seal though. Its the steel ring thats employed with the copper.
