Default StreetKa hardtop removal?

havent got the instruction book to hand?

anyone know how to take the hardtop off?
is this difficult? tools required?

also - red pull cord in the boot? what does this do?!

no idea regarding the hardtop but i would suspect the pull cord is the petrol flap release?

If the soft top is powered, the red cord will unlatch the motor if the top jams,, probably.
Ask Jock on the Garage, he did a BMW.

so the big red cord thing that looks like a thing you shouldn't pull....

erm if it unlatches the electric motor whats it do? does it reengage automatically?

Not unless the roof jams half way up.

Would have to be manually re-latched I would think.

Easiest way is to try it and see, then post the outcome

My wife has a streetka and the roor is manual, I thought the hard top roofs were bolted on,

yeah Ive read a bit more and think you have to unbolt the rear with some spanners.

looks bit more involved than initially first thought.

am concerned now about the roof and disconnecting the electric roof.
havent got handbook available to know how to reconnect motor.

god knows if its electric its got some button on the side! lol

is this just for releasing the lid/cover for the roof?

what the hell does the red pull cord do then?! its like a cartoon! dont pull or press this big red button!! well you just have to try it dont you
