....petrucci...the quality of this jacket and my leather trousers to go with it are all made with protection in mind...i dont think there is such a thing as shit leathers...ok if i was tracking the bike and running flat out round a circuit with big offs then a big name one piece set would be advisable as i guess the more money the longer you got sliding before gravel rash ...but on a road setup up you are gonna stop pretty quick in an accident and your leather quality has no issue...the crash helmet has though!

These are also the places that are going to impact with the ground first so no they arent designed to keep broken bones in place at all , the armour is to try and prevent them happening altogether

From someone that rides bikes.. I'd never wear a jacket like that, it just looks like something you'd see someone who's never thrown a leg over a bike wearing.

Nobody I know that I ride out with would buy something like that.

I've come off in cheap'ish branded leathers and they fell apart at about 40mph down the road. Back then I admit I skimped on buying them, but now I have a decent 1 piece suit. The ones I crashed in were still better than that 'fashion' stuff though.
