200 bhp is quite straight forward:
40mm TBs
Cams
Headwork
Aftermarket ECU
Job done.

PassionFord Post Whore!!
depends what youre after. BSBHP or actual BHP.
a chap on xrtwo.com has built a 2.0 zetec on 45mm carbs, omex ignition manegment, highly worked head with big valves iirc, cams of some sort, and a fully rebuilt bottom end with arp bolts where needed. i think pistons and rods were standard but may be wrong. the engine was built properly and not chucked together with a mismatch of parts, and it made just over 200bhp at well into the 7k revs.
its not as easy as people would like to think. its not just a case of chucking a few fancy sounding parts together on a 100'00 mile bottom end and firing it up.
dave moores is a prime example, theres been ALOT of work put into that engine, i dare say more money than youd pay for a std 2wd saphcos...and it makes 214bhp or there abouts?!
in my opinion youd be better off with a 2.0 lump, throttle bodies, bit of headwork by a reputable firm, and maybe some mild fastroad cams and forgetting about chasing figures. itll make for a much better engine than wringing out a 1.8 in an attempt to have a 200bhp engine - thatll drive like wank.
just my 2 cents so to speak
