Around the 30 second mark.I had a wrestle with him for another 30 seconds after the camera turned away.Another steward had to help him.The police got hold of me,gave me a dig to the head and chucked me out.I got back in the wigan end about 5 minutes later

Thanks for the info. Will have to see what happens!
& i wasn't given the tape! I saw them get both out on the table but they said they'd send one to me. I then had DNA taken, fingerprinted and picture taken!

fair comment. i too was looking into moving abroad and was told they dont like convicts but a mate of mine has recently done it.
he had a record and they ask you to explain yourself. obviously if your explanation is good enough then your on to a winner.

I've not read the whole thread as I know it will be full of misinformation
Basically expect this.
The CPS (well I speak for South Yorkshire, but we are governed by ACPO guidelines, so I expect it the same everywhere.), have a very robust policy to this kind of offence.
Even for somebody where you have no previous convictions of any kind, a strong prosecution will follow, where a caution would of been otherwise appropiate.
I have seen a 3 year banning order for been drunk while entering a sportsground. Your offence is far more serious than that. By the sounds of things you were:
Drunk
Encroching in an area you shouldn't
Abusive
Sorry to sound harsh, but thats how it will come out in court.
You would then end up with one conviction for whatever your charged with, and a FBO, most likely 3 years.
If this happened on my turf, that would deffo be the outcome. I can't say for sure down yor way.

I wasn't abusive (if i was, no steward/officer would of heard) and i wasn't drunk. I had had a few beers but wasn't drunk. No mention of alchoel was made during my arrest! Thanks for you input anyway, i suppose what you've said could be the very worst outcome. Will wait & see.
The End.
The End.

Sorry, I've not made myself that clear!
When I said you were Drunk and abusive, thats how it will be put accross. You were intoxicated, which will be called drunk. And because in your own words you were shouting, that will be termed abusive.
Best of luck, and let us know how you go on!
