Paint it first with a PVA/water mix to seal it.

not fussed about the sealer bit, just wondered if there was any tips or a spray kit you can buy, it takes fookin ages and looks shit unless you cover it extremely well.

gareth that was my other thought, get someone else to do it

a spray kit would be the way forward.how about one of they sprays you get for weedkiller with the pump handle ? might have to thin the paint down abit though.

yeah thas what i was think fuzzy, as i've seen the kits you get for spraying fence's but they must be a very watery solution, and wouldnt ever cover well on block i would image.

you could try drilling the hole in the spray nozzle slightly bigger so it sprays paint perhaps?

I've done this - on a friends garage.

We used ordinary emulsion, thinned slightly, sprayed through a cheapo electric sprayer from Screwfix.

13389 is the item no - £8.99

Worked a treat. www.screwfix.com

Yes but numbnuts if you don't seal it first the paint will soak in and always look crap. Seal it then it will look far better
