I quoted him £170 DELIVERED to devon for a MINT conditin full system with a choice of tailpipe size

He said he would think about it

Not trying to nock the bloke , but i thought that was a good deal

Yes or No ????????

£170 delivered is very very cheap IMO, considering about £25 of that will be for packing and post.....he's obviously a cheap skate

Thats a cheap price but don't forget there is always loads of cheap shite on ebay for peanuts. People don't always realise you get what you pay for.

Agreed

BUT,,from a propper trader that you can contact if your unhappy / not as described etc , and will deliver to your door the next day , unlike the e/bay tossers who send shite and spend your money then send the part when they can be arsed

Buying from a trader will always cost a little more but people these days would rather pay a little more and get good service rather than risk the cash on fleebay

Ive got a full magnex lying in the trees in my back garden(been there for about a year), reckon i could easy get £100 for it round my way. Its not in dazzling conditon as all kinds of wildlife have been rumaging round it and i cant be arsed with the hassle of pakaging and sending so i'd say around £170 is fair from a trader to your door

And the 's on e-bay will try to rip you off on anything. Friend had to send a check (another e-bay expert friend suggested it was dodgey) to this guy who was selling two fibreglass wings for a 20 year old ford cargo. That was three weeks agao and he hasnt sent them out.
I mean, Come On, its some bloody wings that will only fit a ford cargo, not some mass market, high demand thing that will get 10 or 20 people! There are some real wankers out there.

That sounds like a proper fair price, especially to your door!

The fella is obviously a skint mo fo or just tight!

BTW Paul, what would you charge for a mint lambda sensor off a saph?

price is fairly average IMO,about what you'd expect from a trader, nothing special, especially not worth ripping your arm off for. i would ask then shop around as well,if he can get the same thing or nearly the same thing for half the price then why shouldnt he?

Tbh, I know I do this. Sometimes wonder how much things are, then wonder what else I could buy instead.

Happens all the time, £170 is spot on.

Well how much is one new anyway, I have no idea but I bet it's alot more than that, a stainless exhaust will never fuck up unless it's all mangled which I am sure it is most definately not. Good post tho, shows you actually are a genuine guy and not just out for the dough.

Fair point mate the reason i did the post

i bet he will struggle to get a better price tho from a propper trader

Easy to be undercut by a man in the street but as long as most think its a fair price then im happy
