i grew up in central london and have the chance to sell up and move out,,,,, but when you take into account i can get a bus to any major club and if i spend all my cash ( like saturday ) i can either get a bus home or EVEN WALK

working on upper street is just imense as the nights out are fucking class not to mention i get free parking in my work carpark

id NEVER move to any other area cause,,,, well id miss the 24 hour shop across the road from my house where i can buy beer all night long,,,, and then there is the REAL stuff we take for granted by living in london,,,, i cried when i found out some parts of london have no busses that run all through the night,,,,,, AND THEN I WENT TO FUCKING DURHAM WHERE THERE BUSSES RUN EVERY FUCKING HALF HOUR AND YOU DONT EVEN HAVE A FUCKING BUS SERVICE ON A SUNDAY

AND I LIVE IN THE FUCKING PIKEY PART OF ISLINGTON

i could eat and drink and STILL fall on my door step to get home without even using a bus,,,,, i get the fucking milk in my missus pink fluffy slippers,,,, and i have to pas a pub to do that,,,,,

and then im 20 mins TOTAL travel time to oxford street, lecester square, maiyfair,,,,, think about that,,,,,, infact my local underground station has the BEST access to ALL of central london

i could NEVER move,, to some quiet place where i have to stick cardboard on my window of may car as the place freezes over in fucking july

lol Ginge youll never convince me....but each to their own. I personally prefer the quieter life...where i live its quiet little estate in a cul de sac where no busses run or traffic etc...yet im close enough to town centre for food, drink and shopping etc Then im only 10 mins from the pennines

Don't live in London myself but do work there and I fooking love it. Wish now when I was younger I had lived in central london (money allowing!) for a period of time (I think all peeps in their 20s should do it!) !

Due to having the family now there is no way I would move into London now but will move somewhere that gets me into the centre by train within 45mins.

Things I like about london are:

1. Transport - no need to fook about with a stupid car.
2. People - different nationalites, colours, religion, languages etc all mixing together.
3. Infinite shopping for anything.
4. Infinite places for entertainment at more or less any time of day.
5. etc etc etc!!

Worked in London for 6 months mainly areas like Deptford, Peckham and Camberwell etc and they really were shit holes on a full scale level, people can not defend these areas at all and try to compare them to areas in other towns and cities as nothing touches them surley. London as a whole in my eyes is not a nice place to live and i have been to most areas but i do enjoy a weekend on the piss when i go for football especially getting out the centre to the proper pubs.

I agree, I work in London (westminster luckily ) and even there some of the people you see there wandering around makes you walk a bit faster!

I think you can say that most places have shitty bits, that said I am glad I live well outside London

People near me say they would love to live in Brighton?! Why!!! it is a proper shit hole that place (with the exception of the areas that no one can afford to live in) and unless you like getting your skin chimney dirty every night why the fuck would you want to live there!
