This car was gifted to David Coulthard for publicity purposes by BMW in November 2001, as the first E46 BMW M3 with the F1 style SMG II Gearbox. We have documentary evidence of this, including a copy of the original log book with his name and personal address. Since three months old it has had two private owners.
